    IRA contribution limits (Traditional, Roth, or SEP) are based on several factors. We recommend you speak with your tax professional before contributing. Solera National Bank will adhere to the IRS IRA contribution limits based on age.

    Traditional IRA and Roth IRA contributions for a specific year can be made anytime from January 1 until the tax-filing deadline in the following year. Example: 2023 contributions were accepted from January 1, 2023 until April 15, 2024.

    SEP IRA contributions for a specific year can be made anytime from January 1 until the extended tax-filing deadline in the following year. Example: 2023 SEP contributions were accepted from January 1, 2023 until October 15, 2024.

    Inherited Traditional IRA and Inherited Roth IRA contributions are not permitted per IRS regulations.

  • Please be advised, Solera National Bank is unable to report any checking account transactions to the IRS on tax forms 1099-R and 5498. If funds are not sent to Solera National Bank correctly for deposit into the IRA, you may be required to submit additional paperwork to your tax advisor for reporting purposes.

    Please be sure to use our IRA Delivery Instructions to send your contribution. This will ensure Solera National Bank will report the contribution to the IRS on your behalf on tax form 5498. All incoming wires are subject to an incoming wire fee of $15. We may delay your ability to withdraw funds beyond the first business day after the day of deposit.
